These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JobMe mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using JobMe, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload (profile, resume, job posts, messages). By uploading content, you grant JobMe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, infringing, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post fake jobs, listings, or applications.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any user.
- Scrape, copy, or republish data from the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
- Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or unauthorized advertising.
- Misrepresent your identity, employer, or qualifications.
5. Employer Responsibilities
Employers must ensure job postings are accurate, lawful, and non-discriminatory. JobMe is not a party to the employment relationship and is not responsible for employer hiring decisions or conduct.
6. Job Seeker Responsibilities
Job seekers are responsible for the accuracy of their profile and application information. JobMe does not guarantee job placement, interviews, or offers.
7. Fees
Basic features are free. Certain premium features for employers may be subject to fees, which will be disclosed before purchase. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. JobMe does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any matches, jobs, or candidates will meet your expectations.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobMe shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobMe, its affiliates, and their officers, employees, and agents from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which JobMe is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
